It’s a football club not your family or real life.
Am always bemused by peoples expectations of morals and wanting footballers to be role models.
That said I’d want him to apologise and admit he acted like a cunt and show some sort of remorse
After that if the manager wanted him and he would make us better I’d dry my tears & suck it up.

I'd have taken Defoe back probably but the thing is Payet didn't come through our academy so how much loyalty did anyone really expect. In any case if he were to come back to the premier league I'd rather he was in our shirt than anyone else's.
